This course emphasis on understanding the factors that affect occurrence, structure and components of the city in history.  ‘The city tile project’ is an exercise that helps understand the evolution of City typologies and the “idea and notion” of a city in History of India and abroad. Lectures and essays on worldview of urban history develops an understanding of the nature of contemporary debates on questions of Architectural Production in the City. This theory based course is a horizontal module between 3rd year of B.Architecture and B.Design – Landscape programs.
