The course covered history and theories of architecture from early modern to late modern period. The emphasis of the course was on developing understanding of design inquiry and exploration in architecture during this period. The course attempted to cover varied concerns and approaches with exploration into influence of other disciplines like arts and sciences on architecture of the period. The assignments focused on analytical thinking and representation through drawing and writing. This theory based course is a horizontal module among 2nd year of B.Architecture, B.Design – Interior and Landscape programs.
