History-1 is the one-o-one course in history and theory of architecture. The emphasis of the course was on developing understanding of architecture as a cultural expression. The course attempted to relate environment, cultural imagination and constructs with architectural expression. The course also introduced students to key terms of architecture and design. The assignments focused on developing skills of reading and representing through the medium of drawing and model making. This course is a horizontal module among foundation year of B.Architecture, B.Design – Interior and Landscape programs.
