The aim of the workshop is to create functional furniture / utility object from waste, discarded, or broken objects found at home. While working from waste is that the idea isn’t pre-decided. It needs to come from what you find and what you can make-of-it. When we say furniture think of the obvious table, chair, shelf, sofa, cabinet, shoe-rack, stool, table or lamp shape or anything that serves a household purpose or you can think of ways to organize your stationary or electronics. It could be a stand for your guitar or a house for your cat. It could be an umbrella stand or a coat hanger. Think about all the things you can do with what you can find around you. This creative hands-on workshop is a vertical module between 2nd year and 3rd year students. Each year group deals with a different level of difficulties for course outcome.
