The studio is focused towards learning how to “design as a response to the natural and man-made landscape setting of the site and its immediate context”. A program for Air Pollution Research Centre was the vehicle to explore this design problem. The studio deals with formulating an argument for a design position suitable to respective context. It focuses on ‘how to develop a design language and expression’. The design problem is set in three contrasting landscape conditions – Hilly and rocky terrain of Mandu, Rainforest of Polo and Sea coast of Diu.
