The aim of this subject is to enable students to analyze and apply the climatic factors related to the built and unbuilt environment towards achieving thermal comfort. It also focuses on application of Passive Solar Design techniques and Designs of shading devices for thermal comfort and natural lighting. The course structure is a tool to understand and design thermal mass. This theory based course is a horizontal module between 2nd year of B.Architecture and B.Design – Interior programs.
