The studio introduced the students to urban scale landscape design in a rapidly transforming context, that allows them to identify and redesign underutilized areas into destinations. After exploration of layers of history and culture, socio-economic context, and the natural environment, students selected their own areas of intervention.  The studio allowed for self-exploratory research that can give foundation to the proposal, as well as an opportunity to explore design strategies to implement the research outcomes.
